I'm able to only echo that. A single can be "much better" than the other depending upon the conditions. Frequently, the 9mm has my vote and I very own additional 9mm handguns than .40S&W. My two PPCs also are 9mm (Sub2000 & CX4). That said, I do like the forty S&W plenty and just purchased a Beretta APX that I actually like.Naturally shot placement
